Orit Reuben - “Reclined” pastel and watercolor on watercolor paper
11” X 8”
Orit’s aim is to draw with feeling that would be perceived by the viewer. She is greatly influenced by her grandfather who was a landscaper impressionist. “In my landscapes, I strive to capture light and mood, and create my interpretation of a particular time and place.” “I’m compelled to capture the ever elusive human form, the tilt of the head; the bend of the back. The challenge of capturing the figure, the light at a certain time of the day or mood of a place, keeps me engaged in this endeavor and compels me to try to continually improve and push my limits.”

Penny Jordan - “Bonjour” photography 11” X 14” matted and framed
As an artist /photographer, my inspiration comes from the places traveled, the people who have crossed my path and the presence of my surroundings. Much like the storyteller or poet who expresses his words to expose where he has been, who he is being or who he longs to become; my photographs evoke a like feeling of where I have been, who has touched my life, and those moments that only a photograph can remind me of who I've been, who I'm being, and who I want to be in the world. We are all a reflection of the world. It's up to us to be what we want to see in the world.
